What happens when the leading designers style the shop windows?
Inspired with William Shakespeare’s most iconic plays and quotes, several world-known designers created unique showpieces and one-of-a-kind designs for Selfridges Oxford Street windows.
I was really-really impressed with everything I saw there. It took plenty of time to examine all the details presented in each window. Amazing installation!
Что будет, если ведущие дизайнеры с мировым именем начнут оформлять витрины? Именно это случилось недавно в Лондонском торговом центре Selfridges на Oxford Street.
За основу, или, если быть предельно точной, в качестве вдохновения в работе послужили знаменитые пьесы Шекспира. Каждый кутюрье обыграл в своей небольшой “постановке” один афоризм из пьесы. В итоге получилось целое представление, хоть и неподвижное. Мне было безумно интересно разглядывать каждую отдельную инсталляцию, и проводить параллель между манекенами и персонажами из знаменитых произведений.
