British designer Alexander McQueen distinguished himself with his brand of dramatic tailoring, groundbreaking collections and avant-garde shows. The Savile Row-trained designer graduated from London’s prestigious Central St. Martins in 1995 and went on to work as the head designer at Givenchy and later launched his eponymous label in 2001.
McQueen died days before London Fashion Week, though he was not scheduled to show, and nine days after the death of his mother.
Fashion has lost one of its leading talents and he will be greatly missed.
R.I.P.
I’ve made a collage with the dedication to Alexander McQueen and his fashion.
