Messenger

I find the messenger bag to be perfect for this cold season. In this case you can hide your hands in the pockets. Otherwise there is a risk to freeze your fingers. During the daytime I have business meetings that's why this bag is perfect to go from appointment to appointment. It resembles a briefcase that fits everything starting with the notebook and ending with some cosmetics. This is very accommodating messenger that holds all my necessities. By the way, it is the hottest trend of this season.

На мой взгляд, сумка-почтальон через плечо идеально подходит для холодной погоды. В даном случае руки всегда свободны и их можно спрятать в карманы. Иначе вы рискуете обморозить свои пальчики.)) Мне часто приходиться в течение дня ходить на различные деловые встречи. Поэтому такая сумка - это как деловой портфель, куда можно сложить все свои бумаги, косметику и даже уместить рабочий ноутбук. Крайне функциональный и вместительный аксессуар! И к тому же, мессенджер  - хит сезона.

This is the best X-mas present I've ever had. On the 24th of December I've received an email from Joey who is in charge of the Dutch magazine JUSTPORUD. She asked me about my opinion of the magazine. My picture was included in the LOOKBOOK as an editor's pick. That is a great honour for me.

Shearling jacket

It is already -10 outside. The best way to resist the cold is to have the trendiest garment of this season - shearling jacket. Even if it's short and faux-leather, it still keeps me warm during the day. In one of my articles I've mentioned about the inspiration for this jacket - Emily Earhart, American aviator. So I guess she inspired many fashion designers this year to have the shearling jacket in most of the f/w collections for 2010. In early autumn all the magazines published this trend in every edition. That's why I'm a bit late to show off my aviator. But anyway, I have several different ideas how to wear this jacket. Hope, it won't be very cold outside to pose a little in my next posts.

На улице уже -10. Лучший способ противостоять морозам - приобрести самый горячий тренд сезона - куртку из овчины. Несмотря на то, что моя короткая и не из настоящей кожи, мне очень тепло в ней. В одной моей статье я уже писала о данном тренде. Дизайнеры черпали вдохневение от Амели Эрхарт, американской летчицы. Уже ранней осенью каждое глянцевое издание в обязательном порядке рассказывали об авиаторских куртках и показывали различные комбинации с ними. Поэтому, сейчас я уже мало кого удивлю своей покупкой, сделанной ещё в конце сентября. Но у меня ещё есть много интересных идей, как и с чем одеть авиаторскую куртку. Главное, чтобы на улице не было так холодно фотографироваться. Кстати, советую прочесть интересную статью на тему дубленок из овчины на сайте LOOK AT ME.

Vertical effect

This post I start with saying sorry once again for the lack of posts. I really don't know how to make pictures when there is a snowstorm "Monica" outside, I'm being sick since last weekends and it's getting dark already after 2 p.m. I don't like to use my flash in camera - the quality gets worse. But sometimes, when there is no other opportunity I just have to. So these pictures where taken in snowy Estonian town called Viljandi where we had our corporate X-mas party. It was really fun. As for the look - this is my experiment with the vertical lines. Some of my colleges thought that I had a very tiny thin legs because of my super tights )) I guess this was an imitation to Chanel two-toned tights f/w 2008 and I've already made a post writing about it more detailed. But anyway, using an effect of vertical lines, the silhouette looked more body conscience and slender. Everybody should try this. ;)

Начну опять с бесконечных извинений за то, что редко публикуюсь. Постоянно получаю жалобы по этому поводу. Но сложно представить, как вообще можно делать фотографии, когда на улице уже вторую неделю метет снежная буря под названием "Моника", темнеет после обеда, да и вообще я болею уже с прошлых выходных!? На своей камере я предпочитаю не использовать вспышку, т.к. качество ухудшается. Но если нет другого выхода, то можно.)) Фотографии были сделаны в снежном эстонском городе Вильянди, где у нас прошла корпоративная рождественская вечеринка. Было весело.)) По поводу наряда - мой очередной эксперимент с линиями. Кто то из коллег подумал, что у меня нереально худые ноги, увидев издалека только светлую часть моих "модных" колготок.)) Это вроде имитация на двухтонные колготки Chanel f/w 2008, о которых я писала ранее. Но в любом случае, используя вертикальные линии, силуэт становиться более стройным и вытянутым. Даже несмотря на то, что у меня неполноценно получилось показать это на фотографиях. Но всем советую попробовать. ))
